ERIC MARTIN

Pastor Eric is a native of Southern California. His father was a Pastor and instilled in Eric Christian principles and a passion for the Word of God. Eric graduated with a business degree from the University of Southern California and has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in mental health. Eric has been married for 30 years to his lovely wife Leslie and has three beautiful children Erica, Kaleb, Roxanne and a son in law, Emmanuel. Eric loves to have fun, believing that laughter is truly a medicine for the heart and soul!

Eric had been a member Peace Apostolic Church for over 30 years under the ministry of the late Bishop Howard Swancy. During his time at Peace, Eric served as the Director of the Youth Department, Worship Leader, and Head Sunday School teacher for the Young Adult Class.

Eric has also taught a bi-monthly bible class and conducted couples counseling, emphasizing to couples that marriage is “a life-long journey to love like Christ.” An ordained Elder, Eric was an instructor at Aenon School of Theology where he has taught Principles of Worship, Hermeneutics, Principles of the Apostolic Doctrine, and Bible Study Methods.

Eric’s unique background in Christianity and mental health has made him a sought after teacher and counselor for both singles and couples as he deals with the frailty of the human condition from a biblical perspective.
